Our entire community was surprised by the closing of the adolescent medicine clinic at Dell Children’s in Austin Texas.
However, for some patients, Medicine In Motion is here to help.
Dr Pyron and our entire medical staff are trained to care for those with eating disorders. We provide blind weights, subscribe to the Healthy At Every Size (HAES) philosophy and come up with individualized plans of care for patients who are seeking help for nutritional concerns, eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, food avoidant, orthorexia, and those not yet defined.
We have close relations with ERC (Eating Recovery Center) and CFD (Center for Discover) and can help coordinate higher levels of care when needed. We also work with numerous mental health professionals and dieticians in the outpatient setting and can coordinate care with outpatient teams. We can order labs and DEXA scans when needed and will review the results and create a plan for recovery.
